September 2025

Hello.

I am still alive.  I don't DJ anymore.  I don't fiddle around with other people's music anymore.

I now lathe-cut records for a living.  You can find out more at www.plastidisc.com

I still make a bit of music of my own, when I get the time and/or inclination.  Electronic instrumental pop using knackered 1970s synthesizers, mostly.  I have made an album which was completed nearly two years ago, but hasn't been released as yet.  I'm going to do another one, anyway.  It might come out first, who knows.

I have a 7" single out on October 3rd, composed, produced, cut and packaged by me, and me alone.  The workers control the means of production and all that.  It makes a lot of sense in 2025.  There won't be many of them, and everything I've done before has sold out remarkably quickly.  There will be more news on my FB pages, or you could sign up to the 'community' at my Bandcamp site: plastidisc.bandcamp.com which is where the thing will be available.

It looks like this:

Cheers to those who are still listening.  I might start putting posts on here again about the old stuff, as it's all hitting 20 year anniversary territory, which is quite scary.  Milk that back catalogue.

T'ra for now...   B

What are the chances! I was sorting out my mashup collection (as usual) and was going through all the Eminem one's, trying to prove myself that some of them might have been good if they're in it. Than I fell on your "The Theme I Love" and "The Without Me Song". I was trying to fin in which year you made them. Is July 2003 correct?

Cause they are on The Bootleg Archive under Soundhog/Cassette_-90_-_-Best_-Of_-Soundhog_-Vol.1_-/ but the Year isn't attach to the ID3 tag.

Glad to hear news from you and knowing that you produce and control your own art now. :)

Lovely to see this update - your legendary Allez Allez mix continues to get regular play when I'm travelling. Can't wait to see what comes next.
